Team,

Drawing from the core of our 'A Day in the Life of...' and 'out of Mudlick Road' initiatives, which demand we see the world as it is and find pathways to success, this is a moment to apply our "Yes. And..." principle to the world stage.

Yes, President Trump has achieved a truly historic and unprecedented peace agreement between Israel and Hamas.

This is a landmark achievement that transcends partisan politics. Regardless of one's political views, this accomplishment solidifies the President's legacy as one of the most consequential leaders of our time. He has succeeded where generations of leaders have failed, achieving what was considered impossible just days ago. While our allies pursued other paths, President Trump brought a powerful coalition of Middle Eastern nations together, isolating the Iranian regime and forging a new regional consensus for peace.

His historic address to the Knesset, his acceptance of the prestigious Golden Dove Award from Israel, and the culminating summit in Sharm El Sheikh are not just photo-ops; they are markers of a profound shift in global dynamics.

And, for this historic agreement to blossom into a durable and lasting peace, the work is just beginning.

This victory for diplomacy must be followed by decisive action. The path forward requires that Hamas:

  1. Completely disarm and renounce violence in perpetuity.

  2. Cede all governing authority over the Gaza Strip to an international body tasked with oversight and redevelopment.

  3. Cooperate fully with regional partners to ensure the long-term security and prosperity of a rebuilt Gaza.

Finally, this moment requires intellectual honesty. It affirms the principle that two things can be true at once. We can, and should, celebrate this monumental achievement for global peace and stability with our strongest support. It is a testament to bold leadership and effective negotiation. Simultaneously, we can and must maintain our principled opposition to the administration's rhetoric and policies we find deeply damaging, including those targeting the transgender community.

Today, however, is about this victory for peace. Congratulations to President Trump, his diplomatic team, and the courageous leaders across the Middle East who made this improbable dream a reality.
